Software engineer at Red Hat, focused on various enterprise middleware solutions and frameworks. Having formerly come from a quality engineering background, I also carry a very keen sense for software quality. I have worked a lot with different frameworks under the Java EE umbrella, data virtualization, and most recently monitoring solutions including Hawkular Metrics and MicroProfile Metrics. I currently actively participate in forming the future of MicroProfile Metrics specification and at the same time, one of its implementations, SmallRye Metrics, and its integration into projects that make use of it, that being Thorntail, Quarkus and WildFly. In my spare time I also experiment with artificial intelligence.
